What is the GROW Step?
The GROW Step helps you develop biblical knowledge by which you can apply daily. Grow happens at NBC in three ways:
1) Bible Study
2) Conferences/Workshops
3) GROW Groups
A GROW Group is made up of 8 - 15 people who meet regularly during the week to share about their lives, to support one another, to pray together, worship God and to study biblical truths.
Why should I be a part of a GROW Group?
You should be a part of a GROW Group because Jesus did not come to call individuals but to create a new community. Being a Christian is about living in community and the best way to join the Christian community is through active involvement in a GROW Group (Acts 2:42-47).
Who will be in my group?
Each group's membership varies. A group's makeup can be by:
1) Life Stage: singles, couples, families, empty-nesters
2) Gender: men and women
3) Geography: neighborhood, zip code, subdivision
4) Interests: topic, ministry, skills
When can I join a GROW Group?
"ANY TIME" the GROW Groups are offered at NBC. There are three distinct 2 month long semesters (spring, summer and winter) - much like an academic calendar. Each group lasts only 8-9 weeks.
